Sanguisorba officinalis var microcephala Little Angel Hydrastis from our friend and formerWe have been absolutely thrilled with the performance of the dwarf Sanguisorba 'Little Angel' in our trials. Dutch plantsmen Luc Klinkhamer and Mr. Chang of Osco Gardens spotted this in 2009, growing in a Japanese nursery in the Aomori prefecture. Returning with it to Holland, it was given the name Sanguisorba 'Little Angel'. This unique rock garden sized burnet forms a 7" tall x 15" wide clump of pinnate green leaves with a distinctive creamy border
